Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Overtime is built to keep your information with you. It has no user accounts and no backend servers of its own. This policy explains what that means in practice.
What we collect
Nothing. Overtime does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking by anyone else inside the app.
Where your data lives
Your tracked sessions, settings, locations and breaks are stored only on your device, and within your own private Apple backup if you have iCloud device backups turned on. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.
Location
If you turn on automatic check in, Overtime uses your location to notice when you arrive at or leave a place you have added. This happens on your device only. Your position is used to start and stop tracking and is never collected or transmitted by us. You can switch it off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings, and the app works fully without it.
Searching for a place
When you search for a location to add, the text you type is sent to Apple Maps to return matching results. That request is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy terms. Overtime does not store or process those queries on any server.
Notifications
Overtime can show local notifications when your working time starts or ends. These are created on your device and are not used to collect any information.
Children
Overtime is an everyday productivity app. It is not aimed at children, and it does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
